FATBURGER UNIT OPENS FIRST MICHIGAN RESTAURANT

(PORTLAND, OR) – March 3, 2008 -- Fog Cutter Capital Group Inc.'s (OTCBB: FCCG) Fatburger unit has announced the grand opening of its first Michigan location.

This newest Fatburger is located at 28308 Telegraph Road, Southfield, MI, 48034, and will open on March 3, 2008. This location is a franchise whose ownership group is led by longtime Detroit community leader and attorney, Jerome Barney.

“The expansion into Michigan is part of the company’s plans to open between 20-30 new restaurants this year. Fatburger has been a welcome addition to other communities because of our continued commitment to quality and taste and we look forward to becoming active members of the Southfield community,” said Andy Wiederhorn, Chairman of Fatburger.

The new 2,800-square-foot Fatburger location will provide approximately 30 new jobs to the community.

Fatburger is a quick-casual, takeout and sit-down restaurant serving big, juicy burgers custom made to guests’ taste buds. For more than 55 years, Fatburger has been dedicated to serving big, fresh, 100 percent pure lean beef burgers custom made and grilled right in front of customers.

Every signature 1/3 lb. Fatburger patty is fresh, never frozen and can be indulgently dressed with all the usual condiments plus inspired choices such as chili, bacon and even fried egg. For those with a heartier appetite, there’s a half-pound Kingburger. When finished cooking on an open grill, your order is delivered to your table.

Fatburger’s spacious restaurants feature a hip ’50s-style décor accented with bright colors, neon lighting, stainless steel accents and various memorabilia. Rock and classic soul tunes wail from the Web-enabled digital jukebox that has a catalog of more than 250,000 songs.
